Palestinian terror group: Guns Israel gives Abbas will be used to kill Israelis

The weapons that Israel has just helped transport into the Gaza Strip will be used to kill Israelis, a Palestinian Resistance Committees spokesman reports.
Muhammad Abu al-Aal, the spokesman, told Ynet: "We promise to show the Israelis very soon how the weapons they have given to the presidential guard and the security forces are turned against the occupation."
The shipment was a sign of Israeli and Egyptian support for Abbas and was meant to be used to strengthen Fatah security forces in their ongoing struggle against Hamas.
Israel had been reluctant to send weapons to the Palestinians, fearing they would be used against Israelis. But a recent meeting between Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Israel's desire to see Abbas prevail against Hamas seems to have overridden those concerns.
