MKs on Sunday called for military measures in Gaza to destroy Kassam rocket cells and thus prevent Kassam rockets from being launched at Israel.
Eli Yishai, the Shas chairman, said Israel would pay a heavy price if it did not take action against Kassams, according to The Jerusalem Post.
Israel Our Home chairman Avigdor Lieberman said that around 100 Kassams have been fired at Israel since the cease-fire went into effect. Lieberman also repeated his suggestions that Israel become a member of the European Union and NATO and then deploy NATO troops into Gaza to maintain peace. |
