A poll conducted recently throughout the Muslim and Arab world found that US President George Bush is the most hated public figure in the region while Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah is the most popular, The Memri Blog reports.

Also, according to the poll, only 5 percent of the participants agree that the US is the defender of democracy. 61 percent of respondents said they would accept a peace agreement with Israel according to the 1967 borders.

The poll results were presented at the US and the Muslim World conference in Qatar, according to Memri.
