Egyptian sources reported that police arrested a Palestinian man on the Egyptian side of the border with Rafah wearing a suicide belt on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.
The man entered Egypt through a tunnel in Gaza and admitted, after questioning, that he was planning to blow up Israeli tourists in Sinai.
The arrest led authorities to two more Palestinians who were accomplices in the planned terror attack.
The Egyptian sources reported the names of the accomplices as Hisham Abu al-Walid and Emad Abu al-Qassam. They did not reveal the identity of the man who was caught with the suicide belt.
