Soldier wounded in roadside bombing in Nablus

An Israel Defense Forces soldier was moderately wounded by a roadside bomb in Nablus on Wednesday afternoon. The soldier received emergency treatment at the scene and was evacuated to a hospital for further treatment.

Another soldier sustained very light wounds and was in no need of medical treatment.

Earlier in the day, Palestinians also hurled a pipe bomb at troops, though no injuries were reported.

Shortly after the roadside bomb incident, an 18-year-old Palestinian was seriously injured by IDF fire after hurling stones at soldiers. Eyewitnesses in the city reported that more than 50 Palestinians were arrested or detained so far.
