One of the major Palestinian banks, Al-Rafah Microfinance Bank, is considering opening branches in Israel. If the venture is successful, it will be the first Arab bank to open in Israel.

According to Ynetnews, Israeli attorney Eitan Liraz has been chosen to represent the bank in Israel and take the project into the Israeli market.

Liraz is currently in negotiations with Israeli banks over cooperation with the Palestinian financial institution.
