Foreign Minister Livni: Kadima is here to stay

Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni gave an inspiring speech in support of Kadima, declaring that "Kadima is here to stay," at the dedication of the "Kadima House" in Tel Aviv on Sunday.

"It's important to remember amidst all the criticism that Kadima was founded for the right reasons," Livni said. "It's time for each and every one of us to remember the day we left our old parties and joined Kadima. I came to this party because it resonated with me, it inspired me. That's the reason I believe the Israeli public came to us, and that's why they will stay."

The branch in Tel Aviv is the first to open in the city and the 14th to open in the past few months, reflecting the soaring public discontent with the party.
