The Communications Ministry approved two new regional radio stations on Tuesday; one for the political party Shas called Sephardic-Torah radio, and the other for settlers in the West Bank called West Bank radio, Ynetnews reported.
According to the Communications Ministry spokesman, Dr. Yechiel Shabi, the channels will be directed towards the two groups that do not listen to other radio stations.
Sources at the Ministry said that many pirated stations had been launched for these audiences over the years. |
