Russian Israeli business tycoon Arcadi Gaydamak is being indicted by the French court for allegedly selling arms illegally to the African country of Angola, along with other charges of corruption, reported Ynetnews.

The French court charge that Gaydamak and French businessman Pierre Falcone sold almost $791 million worth of weapons to President of Angola Jose Eduardo dos Santos to be used in the country's civil war between 1993 and 2000 without permission from the French government.

The weapons sales included tanks, helicopters, lands mind, warships and ammunitions.
