An American citizen, 43 year-old Christopher Paul from Columbus, Ohio was charged with being an al-Qaeda member and plotting to bomb resorts in Europe, as well as US government facilities and military bases there.

Paul trained with al-Qaeda in the 1990s overseas. He is being charged with providing material support to terrorists, conspiracy to provide support to terrorists, and conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction.
