Yeshiva damaged when two Qassams hit Sderot

Two rockets were fired from Hamas-controlled Gaza at the Israeli town of Sderot Tuesday, extensively damaging a yeshiva but causing no injuries.

The attack came a day after Sin Bet chief Yuval Diskin warned that Hamas plans to stage suicide attacks among Israelis.

Diskin also cautioned against the belief of many Israelis that Fatah is securely in power in Judea and Samaria.

Tuesday's early morning Qassam strike was the second from the Strip since Hamas seized control two weeks ago.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) claimed credit for the previous attack, following which the IDF fired a missile into a car of Qassam-launching PIJ members, killing one and wounding three others.
