Five Qassams hit southern Israel over the weekend

At least two people were wounded Friday when Qassam rockets fired by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip hit the downtown area of the Negev city of Sderot.

One of the homes hit belonged to the family of a boy injured in a rocket attack last year.

Another three rockets slammed into the area on Saturday. One damaged a barn, while two fell in open areas. No further injuries were reported.

Gaza militants have continued to bombard Israel's south with often daily rocket attacks despite IDF operations to stem the Qassam fire.
