Activists in Berlin on Saturday protested against Israeli food products produced in the settlements, Haaretz reported. Protestors brandished signs that read "No to settlement products," and "Stop the Israel-EU Association Agreement," during the start of "Israel Week" at the Galeria Kaufhof department store.

Radical leftist groups, among them The Jewish Voice and Solidarity with Palestine, were prominent in the crowd.

"We have to encourage the Germans to be more critical of the Israeli occupation," Ruth Fructman said, a Berlin journalist who was demonstrating.

"Right now it's still hard for them, especially because every time they criticize Israel, they're accused of anti-Semitism," she said.
