The American restaurant chain famous for its scantily clad Hooters girls and Buffalo wings, is set to debut in the Holy Land this October.
The restaurant's first Israeli branch will be in Ramat Poleg, the opening of which is likely to cause controversy among conservative groups.
The Israeli Hooters team is being trained at company's base in Atlanta, Georgia, so as to give Israeli diners the same experience as Hooters patrons worldwide, with a menu chock full of all-American eats.
According to Israeli entrepreneurs Ilana and Ofer Ahiraz who are behind bringing Hooters to the Holy Land, "the idea of opening a Hooters in Israel stemmed from the tremendous need people in this country have of breaking loose, having a good time and enjoying an atmosphere that is all about fun." |
