Lebanese authorities are considering deporting Daniel Sharon, an Israeli man with German citizenship who is suspected of murder and espionage, according the Israeli press. So far investigators have not found incriminating proof and will likely expel Sharon if he is found innocent.

On Sunday, Sharon's father, Moshe, told The Jerusalem Post that he hoped there was "someone out there who could help free his son, someone who has direct contact with the authorities [in Lebanon]."

Sharon insisted on his son's innocence, saying he "is a good boy, he does not smoke or drink."
