Ashkan Dejagah, 21, who plays for the German national soccer team Bundesliga club VfB Wolfsburg, asked team managers for permission to withdraw from Germany's European Championship qualifier game against Israel, Haaretz reported. The game is scheduled for Friday in Tel Aviv.
