Minister of Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman warned Thursday that if the Palestinian Authority and Israel attempted to address issues like borders, Jerusalem and refugees at the upcoming summit, the Israeli government would dissolve.
Lieberman stressed that attempts to conclude agreements regarding a Palestinian state would "bring about the collapse of the coalition and the government in Israel," Haaretz reported.
At a meeting on Thursday with the Quartet's envoy to the Middle East Tony Blair, Lieberman insisted that any agreement between the Israelis and the PA "must include Israel's Arab citizens as well, when the basis for an agreement should be a land swap and a population transfer."
