Police arrested eight right-wing activists for supposedly attacking police officers and damaging property during the evacuation by Border Police forces of nearly 60 activists from the Shevut Ami outpost next to Kedumim, the Jerusalem Post reported.

The events come a week after settlers ended talks with Defense Minister Ehud Barak following his order to halt all new construction plans in Judea and Samaria.
