The wife of Yigal Amir, who killed the late prime minister Yitzhak Rabin, is due to give birth on the Rabin national memorial day., October 24. There is speculation that Larissa Trimbobler, Amir's wife, planned the coincidence during her fertility treatments, to which she has said, "I do not confirm nor deny," Ynet reported.

Hospital officials have also speculated that Trimbobler will request doctors to induce labor in an effort to ensure that the date of her child's birth and Rabin's death do coincide.

"All this talk is nonsense. I have no such intentions and I don't know who reports this. I'm supposed to give birth naturally," she said, denying the suspicions.
