According to Palestinian sources, the IAF killed a senior member of the militant Popular Resistance Committees, who also served as an official in Hamas' government in the Gaza Strip. The man was identified the man as Mubarak al-Hasanat, 37, a member of Hamas' Interior Ministry, Haaretz reported.

Meanwhile, early on Tuesday Palestinian terrorists fired two Qassam rockets at southern Israel, which landed near kibbutzim. The IDF reported that within the last 24 hours, militants have fired over 15 rockets into Israel.
