According to a report in the Israeli daily Ha'aretz Tuesday, Egypt earlier this month allowed some 85 Hamas terrorists to enter the Gaza Strip from Sinai. In the group were experts in manufacturing bombs, rockets and mortars, who had undergone extensive training in Iran and Lebanon.

Egypt is said to have let them enter Gaza in exchange for the handing over by Hamas of an Al-Qaeda terrorist arrested in the strip.
