Charges were dropped on Thursday against an Israel Defense Forces soldier indicted in Tel Aviv District Court for the killing of a Palestinian man, almost ten years after the incident and a year and a half after the indictment was filed, Haaretz reported.

Ofir Avraham, 29, from Kibbutz Barkai, was charged in July 2003 with the shooting death of Yusuf Jaber, a twenty one year old from Tul Karm, in a 1995 incident in which Jaber failed to stop at a checkpoint near Kalansua.
