David Bedein's Israel Resource News Agency, a media firm based at the Bet Agron Press Center in Jerusalem, Tuesday plans to submit to the Knesset Ethics Committee a challenge to the appointment of Shimon Peres to a government position because of questions concerning his holdings in the Palestinian Authority.

Last September 1, 2004, after the agency submitted a complaint to the Knesset ethics committee about Peres's holdings as an MK, the answer that it got was that "Peres was allowed to hold investments as an MK, and that if he were to become a member of the government, then the Knesset Ethics Committee would consider the complaint".

Bedein's Agency appears to be taking them up on their offer.
