| Israeli police have raised the terror alert level to its next-to-highest level in the run-up to the Palestinian election on Monday. There is intelligence of one or more planned attacks which would draw IDF troops into Palestinian cities, disrupting elections. An additional 1000 policemen have been activated in the capital. |
