To the sounds of cheers from dozens of supporters, Daniella Weiss -- head of the Kedumim Regional Council and a member of the Council of Jewish Communities in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip -- entered the Kedumim Police station Sunday where she was interrogated regarding her call to IDF troops to disobey evacuation orders.
"I answered their questions according to Zionist ideology," Weiss told The Jerusalem Post following her interrogation. "They are trying to charge me with incitement and I explained to them that, we, the settlers, are strong and that [Prime Minister Ariel] Sharon is weak."
Despite intense public pressure, Weiss said she has no plans to retract her call to soldiers to refuse orders. "Sharon has lost his senses and is calling to break our bones but we are strong and nothing will bring us down," she said.
