Published: January 26, 2005

A court order Wednesday approved public disclosure of the details surrounding the arrest of a Lebanese-born Danish citizen, who is suspected of spying on Israel for the Hezbollah.

Ayad al-Ashuah, 39, was arrested January 6 while traveling on a train from Nahariya to Haifa, after he aroused the suspicions of a security officer by videotaping out the window of the train. Al-Ashuah was born in Lebanon, and immigrated to Denmark in 1986.
