An Israeli man was abducted in the center of St. Petersburg, police said Wednesday.
Channel 10 reported that kidnappers were demanding ransom in exchange for the man's release.
Police said Boris Soris, 33, was pushed into a car on Nevsky Prospect street, and driven away.
The father of Soris called the Foreign Ministry and reported his son missing. Some details were conveyed by Israel's diplomatic mission in Russia, based on information forwarded by Russian authorities.
