IDF "Training kit" has "news report" of scores of disengagement opponents killed

Israel Television Channel Two News tonight broadcast a mock news report that is included in the "training kit" prepared for Israeli military forces that are slated to participate in the evacuation of Israeli communities in the Gaza Strip and Northern Samaria.

The mock news report, covering the situation in the country during the evacuation, reports on scores of disengagement opponents killed by security forces both in the areas being evacuated as well as in protests across the country in the exchange of fire (with highly favorable kill ratios -- a few soldiers killed).

It was not clear from the presentation on Channel Two what purpose was served by the mock report -- a warning of what could happen if security forces failed to properly control the situation or, alternatively, a move to mentally prepare them to reply with massive deadly force at the first suggestion of armed resistance.
