As government leaders and dignitaries from all over the world, including UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, attend the inauguration of the Yad Vashem Holocaust History Museum, opponents of the Israeli government's "disengagement" plan will seek to draw comparisons between the deportation of Jews then and now.
The Women in Green protest group plans to disrupt the retrospective approach of what it calls "the same world leaders who immorally push Israel to deport Jews from their homes, and make suicidal concessions to Arafat's successor and loyal follower, the Holocaust denier Abu Mazen."
Women in Green plans to hold a vigil close to Yad V'Shem with signs which say: "The World Loves Dead Jews, but hates proud Jews living in the Land of Israel" and "Deportation of Jews: Never Again!"
The vigil will take place at 3:30 P.M. at the the corner of Herzl Boulevard and Shaarai Tzedek Hospital.
