Terror attack thwarted near Nablus
By: IDF Spokesman
Published: April 4, 2005

Two Palestinian youths arrived this afternoon at
a roadblock, southwest of Nablus near Mt. Grizim. They aroused the suspicion of the IDF soldiers at the roadblock who called on them to stop. The force identified that one of the youths was carrying a pipe-bomb. The soldiers isolated the youth from the civilian passersby and searched him, uncovering two additional pipe-bombs on his person.

While the first youth was being searched, the second youth attempted to stab one of the soldiers with a knife. Both Palestinian youths were arrested and will be investigated by security forces. The explosives were detonated in a controlled manner by sappers.
