Despite harsh words for Israeli media coverage, Chief of Staff Moshe "Boogie" Ya'alon said there is no intention to restrict the media covering the disengagement he said, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Living in a reality of constant media flow of "shallowness, ignorance and manipulations called spins, we have turned into a nation of spins," Ya'alon said.

However, he said "The media will be able to film us, see the commanders and that no one is shooting at our troops, and view the decision making and the evacuation."
