Minutes before the opening of the central ceremony marking Holocaust Memorial Day, unknown men sprayed swastikas and graffiti reading "Sharon is continuing Hitler's way" on the road leading into the Yad Vashem Holocaust museum in Jerusalem.

Similar graffiti was also sprayed on the facade of the Central Zionist Archives building in the capital.

In recent months there have been several incidents across the country where slogans against PM Ariel Sharon were discovered, some of them reading "we will eliminate Sharon" and "we will kill for our country."
