Maccabi Tel Aviv is set to play in the European basketball season's final battle tonight (10:30 a.m. EDT, 5:30 p.m. Israel time).
Over 7,000 Maccabi fans in Moscow are going to be reinforced by about 2,000 Greek fans who came to cheer Greek Panathinaikos, but who have agreed to help Maccabi since their own team lost to Maccabi on Friday.
Perhaps it is the Mediterranean blood flowing through the veins of both Israelis and Greeks, but the two fan groups are expected to work together in Moscow's Olympiysky Arena, where the game is taking place.
