Jewish Agency Chairman set to step down

Jewish Agency Chairman Salai Meridor told Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in a meeting Tuesday that he will step down at the end of June.

Meridor, who was elected to the post in 1999 and has served one and a half terms, has decided that he does not want to seek another term.
