This year the annual Israel Memorial and Independence Day gift from Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to the families of people murdered by terrorists, was an album about the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.

The cover letter for the album, which barely mentions Rabin's role in Oslo, expresses the hope that the families "should find some consolation" in the gift.
