Police arrested a 22-year-old Palestinian from the southern Hebron Hills on Monday, suspected of murdering a 47-year-old woman from Be'er Sheva, severely wounding her 18-year-old daughter, and kidnapping a child belonging to him and the injured girl.

The child, a three-month old girl, remains missing.

The Be'er Sheva Magistrate's Court has placed a gag order on the identity of the suspect and victims.

Police investigators have learned that the suspect came to the apartment on Sunday armed with a knife and stabbed the women in their upper bodies when they were alone in the apartment. The daughter managed with her last ounces of strength to call the rescue teams.
