The court rejected the petitioners' request to issue an injunction against Sharon, who also acts as Likud party Chairman, instructing him to stop promoting the candidacy of Ra'anana Mayor Zeev Bielski. "It is inappropriate for a judicial intervention of court in politics to reach the point of personal injunctions," the judge wrote in his ruling.
