Pink Floyd, which reunited after 20 years for the Live 8 concert event on Saturday, did so to support Israeli-Palestinian peace efforts.

Notably, Pink Floyd's Live 8 reunion came about after member Nick Mason replied to a question by a fan on an Internet site and said the band would consider a reunion for an important cause, such as a suitable charity event.
