Agriculture Minister Yisrael Katz has been called in for questioning by fraud squad investigators over apparently improper political appointments, uncovered in scathing report released by the state comptroller.
Attorney General Menachem Mazuz instructed police to launch a criminal investigation into charges of improper appointments at the Agriculture Ministry, but until now did not suspect that Katz was directly involved in the scandal.
