All Israeli embassies around the world were placed on high alert after two subway trains and three buses exploded in what appears to be a major series of terror attacks on central London during morning rushour traffic. Police reported numerous casualties -- at least 90 -- but did not release figures on the number of people killed. It is not yet clear who committed the attacks.

Officials shut down the entire underground transport network.

This, one day after London was awarded the 2012 Olympics.
