On July 13, two flights, each with some 500 immigrants from the U.S. and Canada, respectively, will arrive simultaneously, marking the largest arrival of immigrants in one shot, from North America, in Israel's history.
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres, Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom, Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Jewish Agency Chairman of the Executive Ze'ev Bielski, and other officials will be at the airport to greet the new arrivals. |
