After clashing with settlers at the Kissufim crossing into Gaza, at least nine additional IDF soldiers have refused to carry out their disengagement orders.

Hundreds of settlers and individuals opposed to the disengagement plan clashed with Israel Defense soldiers and police at the Kissufim crossing into the Gaza Strip on Saturday night and Sunday morning to protest the closure of the region to non-residents.

Those who, after the clashes, refused orders, serve in a unit under the Hesder Yeshiva arrangement allowing religious soldiers to combine military service with torah studies.
