Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is hoping she'll press the Palestinian Authority to stop the terror and provide some much needed support for the disengagement.
U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who left for Senegal and Sudan on Tuesday, is expected to hold talks with Israeli leaders on Friday, and PA officials on Saturday, before heading home the next day.
This will be her third visit to the area since taking office at the beginning of the year.
