During an interview on Army Radio, the Army Chief of the Israeli Defense Forces gave his opinion that the impending refusals from soldiers to participate in the evacuation of settlements starting next week is "among the most dangerous occurrences in the army."

The army, Halutz said, is looking right now for 9 soldiers AWOL who still have charge of their IDF issued weapons.
