| MK Arieh Eldad (National Union party) said that "it is better that thousands of soldier maintain order in Jerusalem and not expel Jews from their homes in Gush Katif." He said activists "received tonight guidelines to arrive tomorrow evening to the ruins of Rabbi Yehuda Hasid in the the Old City [Hurva synagogue] and from there to go out and encircle the Temple Mount and to block it. If Jews are not allowed to get in to Gush Katif and to go out as they please, no one will go in or come out of the Temple Mount." |
