The IDF has doubled its previous estimates of infiltrators who have succeeded in entering and remaining in Gush Katif. The estimate is now 5000. Anti-expulsion activists say that it is even more. Haaretz reports that there are an estimated 4000 "guests" in Neve Dekalim alone.
