The Southern District Military Court on Tuesday stripped a member of the IDF Rabbinical Corps of his rank for his anti-disengagement insubordination.

Captain Amital Bareli has been reduced to the rank of private after calling for soldiers at Kissufim Checkpoint to disobey disengagement related orders.

The court also sentenced him to 4.5 months imprisonment in a plea-bargain agreement.
