Newly evacuated Gush Katif parents have not enrolled their children into school, with studies starting next week, to protest the Government handling of their expulsion.
According to a ynet report, only 90 children have registered for school, in one of two school that are willing to absorb the brunt of hundreds of new kids in their public schools. As a result of the delay, the schools say it will be harder for these kids in the new school system.
The principal of one of the schools in Ashkelon, Rachel Sperg, announced her resignation Monday after only two years in the position, leaving no principal, an absorption of hundreds of children into the school, and opening day coming up next week.
