Yigal Amir, convicted of assassinating PM Yizhak Rabin, has requested in-vitro fertilization treatment so he may impregnate his wife, Larissa Trimbobler.
Amir is serving a life sentence in the Ayalon Prison. Prison officials claimed that as a high security prisoner, conjugal visits with his wife are forbidden: "we cannot allow Amir to engage in sexual intercourse."
