On Sunday, the IDF started the process of reburying forty-eight graves currently located in Neve Dekalim, the largest settlement and "capital" of Gush Katif.
The area has been sealed off in preparation, and the reburial is being done with the full support of the families of the deceased, which includes two soldiers and 46 civilians.
Second funerals are expected to take place in the coming week, as is Jewish tradition for reburying loved ones.
